Summary

This is the site of a Roman settlement, which continues as NHER 15875 and NHER 20590. Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Roman to the post medieval periods have been found during field walking.

Boundaries removed; east boundary not shown on (S1), and easternmost strip of field G96 included by accident in this 'field'.
Large quantities of Roman sherds.
Medieval sherds including Grimston, early medieval, late medieval/early post medieval, post medieval sherds including glazed red earthenware.
One sherd Ipswich ware.
Flints.
