Summary

In 1986 and 1990 a number of artefacts were recovered from the garden here. These finds comprised a large piece of iron working debris, prehistoric flint flakes and sherds of Middle Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery.

February 1990. General finds from garden surface.
One Thetford-type sherd; six medieval unglazed; three glazed Grimston; one post medieval bi-chrome; two flint flakes. Also one pimply Ipswich ware sherd from south of house at TG 0540 1114.
