Summary

A circular earthwork was first noted on this site in the 1960s, and has been interpreted as the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. Beaker pottery may have been found on the site, see NHER 2289. However the feature is probably a Neolithic flint mine shaft.

Circular earthwork noted by A. Q. Watson near spot height 183, regarded as dug out barrow; suggested Little Massingham beaker (NHER 2289) came from it.
