July 1986. Surface find. Northwest of Manor Farm west bend in road.
Iron spearhead, length 20cm width blade 2.5cm maximum, long narrow socket 7cm long, 1.5cm width, split. Originally suggested as Early Saxon, identified by E. B. Green (NCM) as possibly Roman.
