Structure and earthworks mapped (NHER 38379), centred on TG 1030 4248. These mainly appear to be World War Two in date, although elements may be earlier, such as a rectangular banked and ditched area. This encloses the highest point of Telegraph Hill. It was suggested that this may relate to any earlier signalling structures on the hill, especially as the summit would seem the obvious location rather than on the lower slopes.
S. Massey (NMP), 19 November 2003.
