1969. Stray Find.
Found here by [1]:
1 prehistoric quartzite macehead with hour-glass perforation. According to (S1) this information was recorded on an NCM record map. A note on (S2) suggests that it had been seen by T. H. Clough (NCM). It is likely that this was an example of what would now be described as a pebble mace. These objects are not closely datable, having been found in both Mesolithic and later prehistoric contexts.
