See report (S1) for further details.
Shows further internal details since revealed including elaborate bracket in crosswing. Their conclusion is that the building is a 17th century lobby entrance house with crosswing and stair turret added late 17th century.
This seems questionable and the building really needs a re-examination.

Some balusters were removed to Waterfield Cottage.
Also listed is a 17th century timber framed barn of 4 bays with arched braces to the tiebeams and windbracing.
