Summary

A tarred brick tower mill, built in 1814. Only the tower shell remains, and this was derelict until the 1970s when it was renovated to become part of a day care centre.

Brick tower, blackwashed, of tower mill, splayed at base. Now attached to old people's home.

Marked on (S1), then a post mill. Present tower built in 1814 beside it. Last used by wind 1929. information from [1].

The post mill was burnt down by friction of the gudgeon (yet again) and totally destroyed (see (S2)) quoted in [2]'s dissertation.

However [1] replies that an advertisement dated 1819 refers to both mills standing side by side. Perhaps the account of the fire was exaggerated.
