June 2007. Norfolk NMP
A cropmark of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible on aerial photographs (S5). The central grid reference for this cropmark has been amended from TG 3221 0076 to TG 3218 0079. Linear ditch cropmarks previously recorded under this HER number are now recorded as NHER 49493. A sub-circular negative cropmark with a diameter of 17m is present relating to a levelled earthwork mound. Re-examination of the rectified aerial photograph does not reveal convincing evidence for a ring ditch. This cropmark relates to a round barrow of Bronze Age date. It forms part of a barrow cemetery (NHER 49491) located on White Heath.
J. Albone (NMP), 7 June 2007
