Civil Parish CANTLEY, BROADLAND, NORFOLK

Map

16 October 1945.
Cropmark on Ordnance Survey/RAF aerial photograph.
E. Rose (NAU).

July 1996.
The feature is drawn by R. R. Clarke (NCM) on (S1) as an E-shape but in fact is more like a rectangle in white with internal divisions. Askew to field pattern but very small and faint. Origin unknown.
E. Rose (NAU), 9 July 1996.

May 2007. Norfolk NMP
Cropmarks previously recorded at this location were not mapped as part of the Norfolk National Mapping Programme. Although a faint rectangular mark is visible in the field on (S2), it is probably of modern origin and not of archaeological significance.
J. Albone (NMP), 29 May 2007
