Fragments of Neolithic necked beaker found south of wind mill at a depth of 1.2m (4 feet) in clean sand under concrete floor of garage.
Top 0.6m (2 feet) of sand discoloured.
Site visited by R.R. Clarke (NCM), 15 October 1959.
Inspection pit 4m (13 feet) long by 0.9m (3 feet) wide. Sample of white material sent to [1]. See report (S1) in file.
