Summary

A Beaker barbed and tanged flint arrowhead and fragments of Roman and medieval pottery found during the construction of a swimming pool in 1961.

Barbed and tanged flint arrowhead picked up just north of the Beeches.
Found while digging a swimming pool to south (at grid reference).

Informant [1] told E. Rose (NAU) on 19 July 1978 that much Roman and medieval pottery was also found in the excavations.
