Moat (OS) at Waterheath Farm.
Shown on unrevised 1953 6 inch OS as a north to south arm with a central arm running west.
1977 - 1978. Aerial photography (S1).
Aerial photography shows destroyed by new farm buildings and road.
Comp. D. Edwards (NAU) and E. Rose (NAU) 1 May 1981.
November 2000. Visit.
North to south arm still shown on OS map 1993. However new owner says all 'ditches' were filled in four years ago. Only small pond near road remains water filled.
Comp. H. Paterson (A & E) 9 November 2000.
September 2006. Norfolk NMP
The moat at Waterheath Farm was obscured by trees on the available aerial photographs and it was not possible to map its extent as part of the Norfolk National Mapping Programme. The aerial photographs referenced below show Waterheath Farm and its immediate surroundings.
