Summary

A layer of prehistoric burnt flints was cut into in an area where there are no other stones. Burnt prehistoric flints were found when drains were cut.

Cut through spread of pot boilers around 18m to 27m (20 yards to 30 yards) across, and at least 60cm (2 feet) deep in clay with clay beneath. Near 'lows' which could be caused by marling. Fields which these areas are in have no stones.
Pot boilers found while digging drains.
