Summary

The site of a medieval chapel, founded in about 1282 and dissolved in 1547. Several pieces of medieval pottery were dug up on the site in the late 1930s. A Roman coin was recovered metal detecting in 2007.

Chantry site (Chapel of St. Mary) Founded in about 1282, dissolved in 1547.

Found in about 1939; medieval jug of red ware with green glaze and lower part of another with green glaze and incised horizontal and vertical lines. Excavated by [1].

Ipswich Museum records describe the finds as 14th to 15th century sherds; two tall greenglazed pitchers 15th to 16th century; most of a very large greyware pan. States objects came to museum from [1].
