Summary

A hollow way is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and on the ground. The hollow way may be a former approach to Thickthorn Hall, NHER 9417.

Hollow way.
First noted by Ordnance Survey on RAF air photograph (S1), then on ground in pasture field.
Very slight traces.
Possibly an approach to Thickthorn Hall.

April Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of the hollow way described above are clearly visible on aerial photographs (S1) and (S3). It appears as a bank feature, measuring up to approximately 7.2m in width, between two linear ditches, running from TG 1749 0490 to TG 1750 0474.
