Full Description
In southeast corner of field in front of New Barn.
Cropmark of very irregular ring ditch within a trapezoidal enclosure.
E. Rose (NAU), 19 October 1976.
The central grid reference of this site has been altered from TG 381 054 to TG 3819 0543. The enclosure previously recorded under this number is now within NHER 6096.
June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a ring ditch, probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow are visible on aerial photographs to the north of Manor Farm, Cantley (S2-S3). The site is centred on TG 3819 0543. The ring ditch is 27-29m across and is quite irregular in plan, with an angular profile to the southern half of the ditch, giving it a slightly polygonal shape.
S. Massey (NMP), 28 June 2007.
