Full Description
Suggested site of Swathing deserted medieval village, which was mentioned in Domesday.
Site suggested by (S1).
See (S2), this was a considerable village in Domesday which is now included in Cranworth and Letton.
Formerly wrongly numbered also under NHER 14900.

Cross reference to NHER 25910, which is the more likely site of the village of Swathing.
Medieval settlement earthworks close by to east.
