Summary

Aerial photography from 1972 records the cropmark and earthworks of a rectangular enclosure with a broad ditch round outside. A ditch also runs towards the west from the south side. This has been suggested to repersent an infilled gravel pit.

Ditch broken on west and also runs toward west from south side.

Ordnance Survey Inspectors say stereo viewer shows this is an infilled gravel pit.
