Summary

Islington Hall was built in 1619, with a wing of 1780. In the 1970s it was largely destroyed by a fire, leaving only a shell remaining. It is said that a Norman stone cross was recovered from this site.

Said to be of 1619 and 1780.
Service court possibly of former date, main house of latter with early 19th century additions?
Destroyed by fire mid 20 century - shell alone remains, slowly falling - to be restored?
Norman cross reported as found here? See (S1).
