Summary

A series of banked and ditched enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The enclosures are probably part of a Roman field system. Beaker flint barbed and tanged arrowheads, a silver Iron Age coin, Roman brooches, coins, pottery and other metal finds, an Early Saxon spearhead, a hoard of Late Saxon silver coins and a post medieval coin have been found during metal detecting.
