Summary

A red brick great house that was built in 1781. The central block now has two storeys with a slightly projecting taller central bay. Originally the whole of the block was as tall as the central bay, but the outer bays were reduced in height in 1845. There are two side wings, both of two storeys. In 2001 the western wing was joined to a single storey pavilion and the eastern wing was connected to a greenhouse. In the same year plans were submitted to raise the height of the pavilion to two storeys and to demolish the greenhouse and replace it with a two storey pavilion. In 1996 a coin of Henry III was found adjacent to northeast corner of hall.
