Summary

This may be the site of a medieval moated manor that has since been ploughed out. Early medieval pottery sherds were recovered in 1966 and traces of a moat were reported, but but there is no evidence of a moat on early 19th century land drainage maps and fieldwalking in 1990 recovered only modern debris.
