Spasmodic flint finds over this area by LeStrange 1933 to 1936, and also in later years.

1961 at TF 681 397.
Neolithic flints and also at TF 684 396 west of Newton's Belt.
1962 at TF 688 398 on border of two parishes (LeStrange's site 43).
Cores, hammerstones, and scrapers.
'Before 1969' at TF 681 396.
Undefinable flakes and burnt flints.
R.R. Clarke (NCM) found at TF 6592 3998 a mainly Bronze Age surface industry (1391/c1).
