Map

Hollingsworth's Windmill is marked at this location on Burrell's map of Thetford (early 19th century) (S1).
Informant [1] says the Boundary Commission map of 1831 (S2) shows no mill here but places Hollingsworth's mill on Croxton Road (NHER 18024) - as does Bryant in 1826 (S3). This seems to indicate Burrell is wrong - as is suggested in other cases of churches etc.
See NHER 18024 for further information.
