Summary

A windmill is depicted on 19th century maps at this location. This may be Hollingsworth's Mill, which was last used in 1850 and demolished in 1853. An alternative site for this windmill is proposed by other 19th century maps, at NHER 14350.

A windmill is marked here on a Boundary Commission map of 1831 (S1) and on Bryant's Map of 1826 (S2), but Burrell's Map (S3) places the mill at NHER 14350.
Burrell may be wrong.
Hollingsworth's Mill was last used in 1850 and demolished in1853.
