Summary

It is recorded that in 1921 a number of Neolithic flint objects, including a chipped axe of Lincolnshire flint, borers, hollow scrapers, cores, and knives were recovered from an area in Stoke Holy Cross parish. The exact location and nature of this discovery are unclear.

Exact location unknown; a 'new site' in 1921.
Chipped axe of Lincolnshire flint, borers, hollow scrapers, cores, knives, saws, dolphin plane. dos-rabattu knives, symmetrical end of a 'celt' 3 1/2 inches x 1 1/4 inches (9cm x 3cm), and a quartzite pebble chipped to form a hollow scraper. Also later finds of more axes.
Exhibited in 1921 and 1924 by Copeman (see (S1) and (S2)).
