Full Description
Windpump.
26 July 1979. Field Observation
Visited by E. Rose (NAU).
Brick tower mill, with brakewheel shaft and some timbers of cap remaining. Derelict.
According to (S1) in 1975 the brakewheel and a 7 foot 2 inch [2.1m] internal pit wheel were still remaining.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Drainage windpump. Mid 19th century. Three-storey tapering tarred brick tower. Doors to south and north, the former originally with a segmental arch, the latter now in a mutilated opening. Openings above doors originally held windows. Weatherboarded cap survives but not in situ. Cast iron windshaft, brakewheel, wallower and clasp arm pitwheel. Timber upright shaft. Pitwheel drove external scoopwheel (now missing). External engine shed with 20th-century traction engine gearing and belt pulley."
