Summary

The remains of a probably medieval tower, situated on Lodge Hill. It is a rectangular and buttressed building, and is thought to have been a watch tower or warrener's lodge. In 2006 a fragment of 15th or 16th century floor tile and some oyster shells were recovered from the area.
