Summary

Building work on the new Croxton Road housing estate in the late 1970s uncovered two Iron Age silver coins. These were identified as examples minted by the Iceni tribe.

Late 1970s. On new Croxton Road housing estate. Found during building operations, not reported for fear of work being held up.
Two Iceni silver coins, close to metalled road with side ditches, running generally northwest to southeast.
Not seen by Norwich Castle Museum or NAU.
