Summary

A Neolithic axe hammer was found in 1959. It was in three pieces, made of grey stone, and measured (when reassembled) 10 inches (about 25.5 cm) by 4 1/2 inches (about 11.5cm) by 3 inches (about 7.5cm)

Neolithic to Bronze Age axe-hammer 10" x 4.5" x 3.2" in three pieces (ancient fracture, middle section found some yards from others) of heavy grey stone like sarsen, rough except in almost vertical sided perforation which is very smooth and powdery and shows that the boring was from both sides.
