Summary

A very degraded and mutilated ditched round barrow of Bronze Age or Iron Age date, threatened by quarrying. Excavations in 1934 revealed a Roman rubbish pit and Iron Age and Roman pottery fragments. The remains of a possibly Roman wall were noted in 1985.
