At an unspecified date an Iron Age coin of the Iceni tribe was found 'near to Thetford'. It is worth noting that a provenance of 'near Thetford' is commonly used for Brettenham NHER 5653.

Date, circumstances of discovery and provenance unknown. Note that 'near Thetford' is commonly used for Brettenham NHER 5653.
Iceni silver coin, Pattern-Horse ED or symbol.
Held by Thetford Museum.
