Full Description
1930.
14th century iron sword and medieval pottery dredged from the Thames (sic) in 1930.
Sword in Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography.
Information from Ordnance Survey card [1].
1949 and [2] 1952.
One must assume, from grid ref in river by Southery Ferry, and reference to Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology Ethnography as well as Fowler's authorship, that this is a genuine reference and that 'Thames' is a slip for Ouse!
E. Rose (NAU) 25 April 1985
