Map

June 1984-April 1985. Fieldwalking.
According to (S1) it is marked on an NCM record map that finds including Neolithic flint, Late Saxon pottery and medieval pottery were recovered at this location. A note on a sketch of several of the pottery sherds lists the finds found as:
1 Mesolithic flint flake.
1 Neolithic flint flake and 1 partial core.
15 Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds.
Copper alloy 'rubbish'.
See copy of sketches in file (S2).
Finds from this site were subsequently donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.46.6). These are listed in the museum's records as comprising Neolithic worked flints and Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds - it is therefore unclear whether the Mesolithic flake is part of this collection.
