Summary

In 1987 a scatter of early medieval pottery sherds was recovered from the field surface here, while metal-detecting in 2012 recovered fragments of lava quern, unglazed medieval pottery and a post-medieval copper alloy button. This is one of three such sites, presumably house sites along the southern edge of valley floor.
