26 October 1932. 1/2 mile (800m) north of Lakes End. Boring by Horse Head Drain (southeast of Model Farm). [1]
Roman floors, briquetage etc in situ in freshwater clay (87 cm), overlying peat (60 cms) and buttery clay (483 cms), probably resting on lower peat.
