Summary

In 1930 aerial photographs recorded cropmarks of rectangles and long narrow fields thought to represent a possible Roman settlement. Further aerial photography in 1976 recorded the cropmarks of two sub-rectangular enclosures, several 'Riley' circles, extensive cultivation remains, and multiple pits that may be the remains of Roman turbaries.
