Summary
Dredging of the river in 1930 recovered sherds of Iron Age, Roman and medieval pottery. The Roman sherds included pieces of Antonine samian ware.

Full Description
1930. Brandon Creek. Dredged from the river.
Iron Age pottery alleged - G. Fowler and E. Rose (NAU).
Ordnance Survey records say Roman potsherds (G. Fowler).
R. R. Clarke (NCM).
Also medieval sherds.
Same site as above.
E. Rose (NAU).
Roman includes Antonine Samian Ware.
Now in Wisbech Museum.
