The name of the property, Manor House, has led to some confusion regarding the history of this building. This property may be the "Bracondale House" referenced within the Listing description for Bracondale Cottage (NHER 40692) which may have been a lodge to Bracondale House. However, this is not currently thought to be likely, with the demolished Bracondale Hall (NHER 61958) a more likely candidate. Additional research is required.
