Summary

A Bronze Age pot boiler site was identified at this location some time in the 1920's and 1930's. The presence of this feature was confirmed in 1977 by Ordnance Survey staff, who recorded the bull-dozed remains of the mound.

1977. Field Observation.
Perambulation revealed the bull-dozed remains of site NHER 2804.
A level area of calcined flints, 5.0m in diameter, were recorded along with further flints scattered in the surface soil.
