Map

Possible small tumulus on north slope of hill which has old rifle range on foot of south side, bracken-covered.
NCM card by R.R. Clarke (NCM), perhaps 21 November 1936 by A.Q. Watson (NCM) as previous entry, see NHER 2912.
E. Rose (NAU).

A.J. Lawson (NAU) could not find it in 1977.

23 November 1978.
Mound is on edge of pasture field, covered in bracken still, just below crest and on edge of pasture itself.
Probably not a barrow, just part of a natural knoll projecting into valley, but very difficult to tell owing to undergrowth.
E. Rose (NAU).

December 1992.
Bracken cleared from slopes.
Seen only from edge of field, but more than ever now seems to be part of natural hills.
E. Rose (NAU), 7 December 1992.
