Summary
An early 17th century house which probably stands on the site of an earlier house, and next to the site of a medieval moat. The house was altered in the late 17th and 18th centuries, and contains some 17th century wood panelling.

Moated site, adjacent to mansion mostly of early 17th century date, part late 17th perhaps replacing a pre 17th century section. Altered in 18th and 19th centuries.
