Summary

This site was probably a waterlogged area at a drain junction. A site visit in 1990 confirmed that the low lying pasture field had dried out, and a small drain running through the area was the only remnant.

The water feature depicted on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch taken from the Old Country Series 25 inch survey was probably a waterlogged area at a drain junction. The low lying pasture field has now dried out, and a small drain
running through the area is the only remnant.
No feature is shown in this area on the Tithe Map.
