Full Description
1917 to 1918. Casual Find.
A stone battleaxe was found on the ground surface at Sparham Common, fairly close to barrows and therefore probably from a burial. The battleaxe is of Beaker type, with a rounded butt and central perforation. The upper and lower surfaces are slightly concave.
