Found in hopper at gravel pit:
1 Palaeolithic "Acheulian" flint handaxe. Information from (S1).
This discovery was reported in (S2) and is also listed in (S3). Although this object remains in private hands, it is described on (S4) and (S5), suggesting that it had been seen by Wymer. It is also noted in (S6) and (S7), although no additional information is given.
