1959. Stray Find.
Found on Stone Road Farm, in field of sugar beet:
Neolithic polished flint axehead. See drawing (S1).
Owner intended to sell.
Information from (S2). This discovery was reported in (S3) and the find was also the subject of local press articles (S4) and (S5).
