Map

Moat (Ordnance Survey map). Bryant refers to the remains of a mansion of about 1590 about here; elsewhere he calls moated sites 'remains of mansions', but perhaps he is really referring to the chimney of the old manor house built into Church Farm (NHER 3095).
D. Yaxley says he suspects this is really a medieval mill race.
E. Rose (NAU).

Whatever it was it has been totally destroyed by the time of Ordnance Survey map of 1973.
E. Rose (NAU), 18 August 1982.
