Full Description
1954-5.
Garden of 'The Den', Nursery Lane, at depth of 46-60cm (1ft 6in - 2ft) in gravel:
Late Saxon pottery. Large storage jars. Multi-handled finger point decoration on applied strips and numerous other types and handmade brick and fired clay.
On edge of St Catherine's Creek:
Thetford Ware.
