1938. Stray Find.
Found at Blackborough End in cutting made by road running due south of Church about 2/3 mile:
One undoubted late Iron Age sherd (with Roman pottery)
Information from (S1) and (S2). See sketch of 'Black burnished' sherd with 'tarmac surface' on (S1).
This discovery is also noted in (S3).
